The job The purpose of the Warehouse Foreman / Team Leader is to oversee and manage the day-to-day operation of key areas of forklift activity including dispatch, yard and warehousing. You will manage your allocated team, organise incoming and outgoing deliveries, motivate the team, drive efficiency and continuously improve standards, assign and reallocate staff as required, plan team activity according to daily instruction from management, monitor storage availability, uphold site standards, ensure correct protocol and procedures are followed at all times and liaise closely with the management team to communicate team performance and report any issues and/or improvements required. Your experience You will be a motivated and experienced and man-manager with good experience or working in a warehousing, logistics or similar environment, most ideally within food manufacturing/distribution. You will be a competent forklift operator, be computer literate, be able to identify areas of improvement plus be highly organised.
