Good Luck Insurance Advisor Job Purpose: To deliver a quality service to existing and new commercial, mid net worth and high net worth customers, to maximise customer satisfaction, margins, renewal retention and new business conversion, and to improve business profitability and own knowledge of insurance. Main tasks and responsibilities of Insurance Advisor: - To act in a compliant and professional manner at all times. - To develop customer relations and positively influence renewal retention by producing summaries of cover, meeting clients and producing detailed meeting notes. - To provide quotations in response to commercial, mid net worth and high net worth new business enquiries. - To refer non-connected commercial new business enquiries to our strategic partners. - To review our existing database and exploit up-selling and cross-selling opportunities. - To review the market and advise management of opportunities to increase our margins and / or strengthen our agencies. - To maximise renewal retention by ensuring that the company procedures are carried out in a timely manner. - To maintain service levels in accordance with customer expectations and the company service standards. - To handle customer enquiries received by telephone, post, facsimile, e-mail or other means. - To ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and is compliant with Office Procedures Manual and our regulators. - To develop and maintain good relationships with insurers and knowledge of existing and new products. - To provide colleagues with technical guidance and training. - To handle first response complaints originating from point of sale activity and existing customers. - To be responsible for the maintenance of the relevant sections of the Procedures Manual, recording any changes to our systems and processes in a timely, accurate and detailed manner. - To assist with the integration of acquired books of business. - To be aware of the company Business Plan and its main objectives. - To carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by the line manager. Qualifications for Insurance Advisor: Essential At least 3 years experience in a customer servicing role. An excellent understanding of personal lines and commercial insurance procedures and products. Excellent communication and people skills. Desirable Progression towards FIT.
