Are you seeking a new Supply Chain Manager position? As the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for: Being proactive in developing ways of working that generate the most value adding Customer insights Owning & managing the pipeline of activities within your own area of responsibility & allocate resource to activities in line with need Collaborating with the Customer Account Management Team to gather forecast value added insight for key demand events Working with Customers to gather insight relating to supply changes Working with Customers to ensure that bespoke product discontinuations are cleared from the Supply Chain & Distribution network within or in line with the agreed timelines or Customer contract Building the appropriate relationships with Internal Sales Teams to gather insight relating to sales driven change Ensuring that feedback is provided to Customers or Sales Teams on the quality of their insights Agreeing policies with sales teams and/or customers to manage waste/stock clearance where those policies do not already exist Working with Customers to monitor inbound Nominated Supplier Performance and to drive improvement where necessary Coaching & mentoring the team to enable a culture of continuous improvement Our client requires the following knowledge and skills: Experience in a customer facing role Experience in a Supply Chain role Experience of people management desirable but not essential Understanding of outlook tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Word) and experience of using an ERP system Experience or involvement in delivering or working as part of a project team essential Understanding of lean principles or other continuous improvement methodology desirable Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt would be advantageous Understanding of a distribution network & associated operational challenges desirable but not essential If this sounds like the perfect role for you then please apply today, our client would like to conduct interviews between 27th July and 4th August ideally.
