The Governors of Truro High School are seeking to recruit an individual with a strong financial background for the post of Bursar and Clerk to the Governors. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a diverse range of school support services, including financial oversight, building and facilities management, health and safety, human resources and legal and compliance obligations including Data Protection. The Bursar is expected to advise on the short and long term strategy for the School.
The successful candidate will wish to play a full part in the life of the School. He/she will be an experienced leader and manager, with significant senior level experience and outstanding communication skills. Previous experience as a Bursar or working in a school setting would be of interest but is not essential.
The start date is flexible for the successful candidate.
The closing date for applications is 22 May at 12 noon.
Interviews to take place in the week beginning 12 June.
