New Opportunities Supporting Vulnerable People in Hull and Driffield
The Avocet Trust is a local charitable organisation providing professional, high quality care for Residential, Short Stay and Day Care to vulnerable people in over 40 properties across Hull and the East Riding.

Support Workers:
Required for the Hull and Driffield areas:
Full and Part-time: £7.20 per hour (rising to £7.50p from 1st April 2017)
We are seeking to recruit full and part-time Support Workers searching for an opportunity to work in a care setting and have a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable people, with a broad range of needs and personal requirements.

Although prior experience is beneficial, successful candidates will undergo a two week training programme to ensure they are confident and capable of carrying out their responsibilities. Additionally, support workers who are new to the care sector will be automatically enrolled on a course to complete the Care Certificate and, as part of our ongoing development of employees, further opportunities to undertake a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Health and Social Care will become available.

Avocet is holding a recruitment day for Support Staff on Thursday 30th March 2017 (date amended) at our Head Office at 60-62 Clarence Street, Hull, HU9 1DN.
If you wish to apply visit us between 9.30am to 11.30am or 1.00pm to 4pm.
If you are unable to attend but require an application form and information pack, please telephone 01482 329226 or email us at hr@avocettrust.co.uk
