We're now looking for a Care Coordinator to join us to cover The Orangery, Bexhill and Marlborough House St Leonard's to assist in the day-to-day operation of the Home Care Service business, involving direct line management for a team of Home Care Workers.

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Home Care Service business, involving direct line management for a team of Home Care Workers
  • Participate in staff development, training and appraisals and provide written reports of all complaints, accidents and incidents
  • Keep abreast of new developments in care and conform to the Company Code of Professional Conduct in relation to the operation of the Home Care Service
  • Ensure that the day-to-day Care Services are operated in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and current statutory regulation guidance on best practice.

    Holding or willing to undertake an NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Care and with previous experience within a Care environment, the successful candidate will have excellent spoken and written English, good IT skills, competence in Microsoft Office and possess strong leadership skills. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be tolerant, patient and sensitive. Health & Safety / First Aid / Food Hygiene / Moving & Handling certificates would be an advantage, as would experience with Cold Harbour systems, care plan writing and accident reporting.

    As this role involves travel a full clean driving licence is essential.

    This role is full time and will include covering on call - 1 in 3.
